As the seasons change, it's important to adapt our skincare to suit the weather and replenish it with healthy, beautifying ingredients. Welcome autumn into your beauty routine with this fall inspired oil. This is an all natural, moisturizing recipe that recharges your skin with vitamin rich oils, balances oil production, and repairs the damage summer may have caused. This oil is perfect for all skin types but especially if you suffer from acne. Pumpkin seed oil not only captures the essence of fall, but it's also high in linoleic acid, which heals and repairs acne, scars, wrinkles, and more! Combined with hemp seed and carrot seed oil, this skin potion is full of healing properties.

FALL REPAIRING SKIN OIL

Supplies Needed:

* 50 ml Glass Dropper Bottle (Preferably amber or cobalt to keep the sunlight out. These can be obtained at your local herb or glass shop or online.)

* 4 tbsp, Pumpkin Seed Oil * 1 tbsp, Carrot Seed Oil * 1 tbsp, Hemp Seed Oil

Please make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned.

I use this oil without additional scents but if you'd like a fall aroma you can try clove, rosemary, or patchouli essential oil... just a drop or two of any combination you enjoy will be sufficient enough. Some other fall scents to try are sandalwood, myrrh, clary sage, and vanilla.

Essential oils are extremely potent. Use cation when handling (especially clove oil) and never use essential oils alone on bare skin. Always dilute them in a carrier oil. This skin serum dilutes the essential oils to a level that is safe to use on your skin.

Sterilize your bottle before adding oils. I wash mine with eco-friendly soap and then boil them in a pot for 15 minutes. Allow them to dry out completely afterwards. Measure out your oils, adding them one by one to the bottle. Cap the bottle and slowly roll it in your hands, allowing the heat of your hands to warm up the bottle. Give it a shake as well, to assure everything is mixed. I love using this oil as a moisturizer before make up application. It even works as a make up remover! This oil absorbs into the skin quickly and is safe to use on your face and the rest of your body. Use a few drops of this after cleansing your skin by massaging gently in an upwards motion. You will see radiant results with repeated use!
