This recipe requires very few ingredients and takes only about ten minutes to whip up. If you are as impatient as me, then this snack is TOPS. The magical ingredients (seriously, this drink tastes like comfort in a mug)?

2-3 bags Your Favorite Earl Grey Tea (or loose leaf substitute)

1/2 c White Sugar

1/4 c Dark Cocoa Powder

1/3 c Warm Water

3/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 dash Salt

4 c Milk

Whipped Cream

Cinnamon

Honey

Put your sugar, cocoa, and salt into a large pot. Add 1/3 c of water and stir to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring occationly. The contents will begin to boil and darken in color. Continue for about two minutes, making sure not to burn the contents in your pot. This should take about two minutes... do not forget to stir! Add your milk and tea bags to the pot. Heat to serving temperature, letting the tea steap into the milk. Stir your pot (I like to think of mine as a cauldron) to mix the ingredients throroughly. Add the vanilla extract once the milk has heated to your desired temperature. Remove the tea bags and use a laddle to spoon your drink into large mugs. I prefer the ones that look like bowls with handles- and this recipe will yeild about two servings of this size. Coat the entire mug with whipped cream, drizzle with honey, and powder with cinnamon.

This drink has actually become my specialty in my house. I can't even count the number of times I've sat in front of the fire with a friend, or in front of a television set with my sisters before bed. Nuzzle up and enjoy.
